Davison Van Cleve represents customer interests before state utility commissions on all manner of regulatory issues from contested cases to rulemakings, and general investigations.   The firm has decades of experience representing clients in electric and natural gas general rate cases, integrated resource plans, power cost reviews, purchase gas adjustments, competitive bidding, renewable portfolio standards compliance, retail access, alternative ratemaking, and avoided cost proceedings under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA). 

The firm also represents customer and utility clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Section 205 and 206 filings, PURPA compliance, and oversight of non-jurisdictional utilities.  The Firm is also intimately familiar with, and regularly participates in, proceedings involving Federal Power Marketing Administrations, including the Bonneville Power Administration, the Western Area Power Administration, and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
